Last winter, my associate Jess met with Jill + Daniel to capture these stunning St Anthony Main couple’s photos. Danny and Jill are such a fun and laid back couple, and Jess loved exploring St. Anthony Main with them. These two are a match made in heaven, perfectly complimenting one another’s interests and personalities. Jill described Danny as instantly outgoing and dorky. He “loves all things ‘dad’” including fishing, dad jokes, beer league spots, and the gym. Jill on the other hand is slightly more shy, but loves cooking and entertaining her friends and loved ones. She’s passionate about her work, and is an absolute fangirl about her dogs and cheese.
Jill and Daniel braved the Minnesota winter for this outdoor session, but luckily they were blessed with a beautiful and sunny 40 degree December day! Their St Anthony Main couple’s photos offered the perfect blend of city and nature. With skyline views, a pedestrian bridge, and the Mississippi River there’s really something for everyone!
Jill + Daniel were absolute pros at getting comfy in front of the camera, and their sweet and silly dynamic meant Jess could capture some truly special moments. If you’re worried about feeling awkward during your session, we totally understand! While your photographer will DEFINITELY work hard to make you feel at ease, it never hurts to get excited and relaxed before the session even starts! We recommend giving yourself plenty of time to pick out outfits, and to perfect hair and makeup before your session. This way you won’t feel rushed or flustered, and you’ll look and feel your best. Also, try planning some quality time with your honey leading up to your session. Set aside an hour to grab a coffee or a cocktail together, and spend the time relaxing, pumping each other up, and getting excited to step in front of the camera.
