The Government Center has never looked as good as it did during Bailey and Shane’s Minneapolis courthouse wedding!! When they first reached out to me with an idea for a stylized, intimate, ceremony, I immediately *loved* their vision. Bailey and Shane started their love story as high school sweethearts. Fourteen years later, they started the next chapter of their journey by getting married on their dating anniversary! They planned to have a big party eventually but started with an intentional day, just the two of them. We spent the afternoon exploring the Twin Cities — one last adventure before Bailey and Shane became a married couple!!

I loved Bailey and Shane’s attention to detail when planning and preparing for their day. It’s those little details that make all the difference when trying to elevate an intimate wedding to something truly special. Bailey’s outfit is a great example of taking traditional wedding attire and adapting it to suit your style! Other details like Bailey’s bouquet, Shane’s corsage, and their coordinated sunglasses helped pull in a mix of traditional and modern elements that feel so uniquely ~Bailey and Shane~!

These two love the Twin Cities and wanted their photos to show off just how cool Saint Paul and Minneapolis can be. We started their day in Saint Paul at the James J. Hill library where we were able to get timeless photos both inside and outside. Then we moved to the Landmark Center, whose glamorous architecture stole the show. Next, we ventured to the Saint Paul Hotel for a few indoor photos before taking full advantage of their beautiful floral courtyard!! Our last stop before heading to the courthouse was the Emery Hotel, where Bailey and Shane each got a drink to cheers their soon-to-be-married life! We ended the day at the Minneapolis Government Center where a brief ceremony made everything official. I had so much fun exploring the city and celebrating with such a fun couple.
