Mary + Matt’s Earle Brown Heritage Center wedding is what you get when you swipe right on your soulmate! Outdoorsy by nature, these two had the sweetest first date walking around Bde Maka Ska and that road eventually led them here — to their super gorgeous fall wedding celebration.
One thing that Mary and Matt loved about their wedding is how they were able to incorporate elements that made the day feel even more personal to them. When you’re able to focus on tying in little elements that have significance to you, your relationship, or your culture, this takes some of the pressure off of having to meet outside expectations of what your big day should look like! For Mary + Matt this meant writing their own vows and including, a Filipino tradition, the lasso unity ritual! During the ceremony Mary + Matt’s moms both came up and draped a floral rope across both of their shoulders in the form of an infinity symbol, signifying the unity of their marriage! It was such a sweet moment and including it in their ceremony also means they’ll always have photos of these moments to look back on.Â
Mary + Matt had such a beautiful day, and even though it was a bit chilly we were able to get all their outdoor photos before the rain came! You just need to be around Mary + Matt for a few minutes to see just how in love they are. All throughout the day they were constantly giggling and sneaking little hugs and kisses and hand squeezes. The speeches their family and friends gave were full of laughs and sweet words of just how perfect these two are for each other. I have a feeling you’ll see exactly what I mean as you look through the moments from their big day.
